| After we sealed the knotty pine boards, the carpenters finished out the living room ceiling and skylights. | |

| The master bedroom also has a pine ceiling. |
| We are still painting. We broke down and bought an airless sprayer to spray the latex on the interior walls. Having done that, we decided to use the thing to spray sealer and then lacquer on the door and window trim boards. Here's John prepping his new toy.

| And here he is in action, using it. Note the complete PPE (personal protective equipment) and painter's hat. | |
Ruth gets in the act. The respirator is a must, but as for the rest of the painting garb - well that's optional. | |
| Trim boards on the drying racks. Actually the hard part of finishing out the trim boards was all the sanding, prior to shooting the lacquer. Bo arrive just in time to be put to work helping with the sanding. It made the process go much more quickly, and at least 1/3 less painfully. |
| Here's the living room with trim installed around the windows and huge pile of oak flooring awaiting installation |
| The mason installing the rock around the fireplace in the master bedroom. |
| The welders installing the wrought iron railing around the stairs and balcony. Notice the redwood on the walls on either side of the balcony railing. That's the wood that we removed from the Los Osos house and brought north with us (the listing real estate agent said it should be removed, that redwood was dated and passé) |
